The name Nebelstreif means "streak of mist" (pronounced something like nable-shtrife). It comes from Goethe's Erlkönig (translation [link]), and goes to Lake of Tears' A Foreign Road ;]
"Mein Sohn, was birgst Du so bang Dein Gesicht?" -
"Siehst, Vater, Du den Erlkönig nicht?
"Den Erlenkönig, mit Kron und Schweif?" -
"Mein Sohn, es ist ein Nebelstreif."
I recall the crossroads, the junction of ways
The misty morning fog, where I chose my faith
PS: I always strive to write in-depth comments (and hope to receive the same!). Works quite well for photography. However I'm a noob to commenting on poetry, so don't expect too much in the beginning.
